Non-alcoholic soft drinks play an important role in the assortment of retail stores: they attract customers and increase the frequency of shopping. Their popularity is confi rmed by the turnover fi gures as well: despite the economic crisis the consumption of bottled water continued to increase last year and reached 110 litre per capita which is a new record in the market of mineral water. On the other hand sales are about to reach the level where no further growth can be expected.
